Festival Play Casino Play Now

Why we built Festival Play this way

We launched in 2024 with a simple goal: give Canadian players a single place for casino, sportsbook, esports and virtual sports without the usual runaround. The library sits at 1,150 titles from 55 studios — names like Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution and Nolimit City — and the Live Lobby runs 99 tables around the clock. We keep the lobby organised with sections such as Reels, Instant Games, Latest, Progressives, Blackjack & Roulette and By Studio so you can jump straight to what you want.

The site works as a browser-based responsive PWA on iOS and Android, so there is nothing to download and no update nags. We hold a Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence (OGL/2024/181/0181) under operator NewEra B.V., and we publish the weekly withdrawal ceiling of C$5,000 equivalent right in the cashier. Support runs on live chat and email, seven days a week.

We don’t pretend to suit every player out there. If you want a clean lobby, fast crypto withdrawals and a loyalty track that actually pays cash back, we are built for that. If you need Ontario-regulated play, you will want a locally licensed operator instead.

Reels: themes, mechanics and the numbers that matter

The Reels section splits into Progressives, Latest and By Studio so you can filter by jackpot size, release date or provider. We stock Megaways, Hold & Win, cluster pays, cascading reels and classic 3×3 fruit machines. RTPs are published per game in the info panel; most land between 96% and 97%, with a few high-volatility titles pushing past 97.5%.

Mechanics you will see across the catalogue:

• Megaways — up to 117,649 ways on a single spin
• Hold & Win — extra spins where cash symbols lock in place
• Cluster pays — wins from touching symbols, no paylines
• Falling reels — winning icons disappear and fresh ones tumble down
• Bonus buy — jump straight to the feature (where jurisdiction allows)

Volatility tags are shown on every thumbnail. Low means frequent small hits; high means longer dry spells but bigger potential. We suggest checking the RTP and volatility together before you set your bet size — especially on bonus funds where the C$5 max bet rule applies.

Help centre, verification and what to expect

Live chat sits in the bottom-right corner on every page, staffed from 09:00 to 02:00 Eastern time. Outside those hours you can send an email and we reply within a few hours. The chat agents handle deposits, bonus questions, KYC documents and technical issues without transferring you between departments.

Verification checklist

Once documents are uploaded in the account section, the compliance team reviews them. Most players are cleared in under four hours. If something is blurry or expired, we will ping you on chat with exactly what to resend — no vague 'try again' messages.

For disputes that chat cannot resolve, we follow the Curaçao Gaming Control Board complaints procedure. The licence number OGL/2024/181/0181 is displayed in the footer and on the dedicated licence page.

Keeping play in check

The self-assessment quiz takes 60 seconds and flags patterns like chasing losses, hiding play from family or borrowing to deposit. It does not lock your account — it simply shows a personalised summary and suggests the tools below.

Tools available in your account

All limits apply instantly; increases take 24 hours to activate. If you self-exclude, we close the account, return any balance and suppress your data from marketing lists. You can also register with the national self-exclusion database for broader coverage.

If play stops being fun, reach out to ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600), Gambling Support Network BC (1-888-795-6111) or the Canada Safety Council problem gambling line (1-888-230-3505). They are free, confidential and available 24/7.
